30.05.2021 Fuzzy splodge in the NE

Post by Rusted »

Slightly better seeing today allowed the 2.6x GPC on the 174's nose.
I was even inspired to do some "colouring in." :D
It is difficult to tame the bright flares with my limited processing skills.

I think it came out well, Rusted. Lots of action there.

Thank you both. :bow

The early seeing didn't last long.
Even then it was still quite soft before ImPPG worked its magic.
None of those tantalising moments of absolute clarity.

The AR continued to tease all day as I captured video after video in vain.
The seeing just would not resolve the detail with processing:

Last of the day at 16.49 as the first shadows of the trees arrived.
There has been a light bridge over the westerly spot all day.

I thought I saw some filaments in this group but was unsure of it and didn’t list them in my session report. Sometimes visually you are in question in what you are seeing. Sometimes something is right on the border of visibility. Your images show filaments are indeed there!

I'm glad I was able to confirm your visual observations. :bow
