Many thanks Pedro for your presentation and the excellent Lunar images too.

in fact last-night/18th, before it got too dark, I also was looking at the Moon with the first-light of my new SkyWatcher ESPRIT 80ED Triplet and trying-out many differing EP's and qualities, whilst mounted on my Vixen GP-DX Mount and using the ubiquitous SkySensor 2000PC HBX.

With only a rough horizontal and northerly-setting-up, I was quite surprised that slewing to the Moon occurred almost exactly on centre, as I hadn't used this for around two-years, when I last changed the internal Li-On backup battery. So it held the time and location data very well.

I will be posting some images shortly of the newbie..

Best Wishes
Terry

Beautiful!! superb lunar imaging :bow :hamster:

Also great to see the views of how your garden has changed. I'm glad you put a new seat and pergola in for a bit of shade. Are you going to grow a plant up it? I've just realised that is the roll off roof  I guess you won't then  but the seat definitely needed the shade :)

Thanks Terry and Alexandra

It is very dry now and the grass will grow when it starts to rain (in a couple of months).

Pedro, great video. Nice furnishings, have you thought about putting together a mosaic of the moon?

The lunar images are great Pedro, just too bad the contrast is reduced as we get so close to full.

The video clip is also very good!!!

Interesting video of the Maxim DL processing-stage Pedro and thanks for sharing.

One of these days (nights) if I can get to the stage of decent DS imaging, I would purchase Maxim DL, but the night-sky pollution is still quite bad here, even though some nearby street-lighting is turned-off at midnight or 0100hrs(local).

I do not plane to image the Sun with the TMB175. I built a third observatory to house it together with a Paramount ME. I have a 180mm f/6 APM Achromatic that I will use to image the Sun though

Excellent captures through the TMB175 scope Pedro.
M33 certainly shows much detail, so thanks vm for sharing

Many thanks again Pedro for the interesting animation.

I will never likely get to the same standard of the night-sky imaging that you have reached, as your weather and temperature is significantly better than mine, but it certainly shows what can be achieved with the same dedication that you have shown for all your imaging.
Although my main-obsy does have a warm-section, to operate there for longer periods of time, at my age, is not easy...

But at least looking at your images and the gear too, certainly is well nice to see - thank you.

Regards
Terry

Thanks vm for your latest captures of M74 and M1 Pedro.
I was wondering if you captured (or tried to) of Comet Leonard (C/2021 A1) and its' close encounter with globular cluster M3 :?: :?:

Becoming Magnitude 4, it looks as if it could be a good capture and of course is actually lit by our Sun !!!

I certainly would be interested in seeing such a capture(s) and weather permitting might get to see it myself...

Cheers
Terry
