2021-07-21 AR tour (HA)

Post by JochenM »

After a period of what could possibly have been the worst weather in years over here (and the reason I haven't been very active), woke up to a beautiful clear and sunny sky this morning. After tinkering around a bit with various setups/filters; I figured some decent resolution HA might be doable.

Plenty of activity to see on the disk, so I just went over them one by one. The seeing was a bit all over the place, but the good old eyeballing when things are looking up and running a few quick captures seems to have worked fairly well.

Setup: 150mm achromat, Quark Chromosphere, 35nm Baader H-Alpha, ASI174.

Thanks for looking!

That's a very good line up, Jochen! That 150mm achromat really works!!

Thanks all.

The patch of nice weather will only last a few days, but I'll take what I can get in the meanwhile :)

:bow Excellent set of AR captures Jochen and of course grabbing the current weather has been ideal after all that rubbish-weather of recent.

Best Wishes
Terry
