granulate with a Quark without power

Post by banjo »

Hello ,
since I have a still ugly sky, I try a Quark test of the solarscout without power, with erf in front of the lens to see what it gives, I'm surprised that there is a little graininess visible on the first, the second is taken in cirrus and small, well annoying clouds.

For the Ha quark the 3-4 and 5 really smoothed by the cirrus clouds (expo = 22ms gain = 125 45i / s)

Wow that's amazing Paul
I was doing exactly the same today with my solar scout Quark unit, whilst testing it on a Baader TZ2 and a combo front end.
I didn't bother powering it up and just used the spot group to get focus.
First time I have ever done this, very wired.

Nice pics by the way

Rod
