Some more experiments on the Sun and the Moon at 3.5 %
Video with 300mm focal length. Tomorrow I will try at 500mm.

and yes it is amazing how fast the Sky moves. At300 mm focal length and 10 seconds exposure time there is already a noticeable Star and Moon trail approximately 29" arc seconds if my calculation is correct ...

I see what you mean about the distant clouds, that is a real pain! But it does add mood I bet you would get the green flash if you could get the Sun going down over the water Superb views!! and the wafer thin Moon is a beauty!
