I am utterly impressed, again...

What scope did you use on the photosphere?

EvoStar 150 and the Lunt Solar Wedge with a Solar Continuum Filter + UV/IR Cut filter.

I did some with the 5x and the other with a 5x & 2x combined. Doesnt always work but sometimes i get nice results.

Excellent set of images. Which camera did you use for photosphere? These images show what is possible with 6” scope

The EvoStar 150 works very well and resolves the granules without effort!

Excellent Simon !
If you have a deep sky OIII filter (Astronomik, Baader, etc.), you can also try with it. You will get some more resolution.

Hello Christian,
I just started reading your book - Solar astronomy.
Do you mean use OIII filter instead of a continuum filter ? That would be a better filter than the Continuum filter ?

Many thanks.

Magnus
