Before the era of the apochromats, Unitron was the cream of the crop concerning refractors. I remember wanting one back in the 70's. I would still love one today!

And they came with wooden tripods, standard! Most refractors did in those days. I wonder what happened.

Are Unitron and Polarex in any way related? Their equipment looks practically the same, especially in their Unihex turret units.
