Christmas Tree prominence

Post by Martin_S »

The weather here in Brisbane has been terrible for astronomers for weeks on end. Today I got a very short session in before the clouds rolled over.
I was rewarded with a filaprom and a class B prominence (according to Zirins Book Astrophysics of the Sun ).

So I'd like to wish everyone a merry Christmas and a happy new year.

Martin

That's fab Martin, that does look like a little Christmas tree in the corner, all it needs is a star on top, oh yes! it's on the bottom
