Following on from Tuesday clear skies and chance to do some lunar imaging, we had a 'record' 3rd day in a row of clear blue skies associated with high pressure. I was keen to get back from work and get the LZOS 100/800 scope out again and have a go with the 85% gibbous moon. Starting off visually and straight away it was apparent seeing was much better than on tuesday. First off the full(?) disk taken with the grasshopper camera:

Looking a little closer I used the APM 1.6x telecentric and the ZWO290mm camera.

Pleased with these, I think are my best lunar images to date!
Hope you like.

Very nice, Mark. My seeing last night wasn’t really good enough for high quality close views.
You’ve captured some nice details in these.
Stu.
