A Minor G1 geomagnetic storm arising from a strengthening solar wind with a southerly oriented magnetic field. As events go, this is mild. Let's hope for some more impressive fireworks when the 'new' large active region crosses the disk over the next couple of weeks.
Thanks for looking.
Stu.

Thanks Rainer and Terry.
I haven’t heard of any Starlink deaths, yet, with this one, regrettably.

Very nice Stu!
A crazy week out on the cut with the boys here, lots of fallen trees but not seen any northern lights.

Thanks, Terry and Mark.
I wonder how many millions of trees have been felled by the UK weather these past few months.

A lot if the sides of the Staffs and Worcester canal are anything to go by this week. Lots of free firewood though!
