Orion advert for Coronado PST?????

https://www.telescope.com/catalog/searc ... word=55712
This compact 40mm f/10 refractor houses a special filter called an etalon, which transmits only the primary wavelength of light emitted by hydrogen (656.3nm) in the solar chromosphere, where all the action occurs. A bandpass of 0.5 Angstrom allows for even more detailed, higher contast views of the solar surface compared with wider bandpass filters.

This compact 40mm f/10 refractor houses a special filter called an etalon, which transmits only the primary wavelength of light emitted by hydrogen (656.3nm) in the solar chromosphere, where all the action occurs. A bandpass of less than 1.0 Angstrom allows the viewing of surface features and activity that get washed out with wider-bandpass filters.

Although they don't specify it in the advert, I have to assume the #55712 PST is actually a double stacked PST.!!!!!?????

Looks like it Mark. Still badged as Meade Coronado. Product looks the same. I wondered if they might come up with a new PST to take on the Lunt 40. Maybe something they’re working on.
