Ha double-stack images with the C8 EdgeHD on March 4, 5, 6 and 9
Hi,
I had a good period of clear weather last week. It was high time to use the C8 EdgeHD again in double stack Ha combination. The images were not so good during acquisition but turned out rather well after processing.
Here is AR2957 on March, 4 :

The same on March, 5 :

AR2760 near the solar limb. Processing was a pain ...

AR2960 on March,6:

and finally on March, 9

I think the forecasted seeing for the UK is awful for this entire solarcycle Mark. LOLmarktownley wrote: ↑Mon Mar 14, 2022 6:46 pmTee hee hee! Impressive, haven't been here for a while (3 years...), great to see such amazing results immediately when back Does the Celeston C8 HaT from Airylab still available commercially? If I remember correctly production stopped some years ago, not sure how it goes now. Excellent images!
Currently out of equipment, but still around to see your images!

Beautiful results, Christian.
I long to get my C8 back in action but it will probably be a few months.
There is still an enormous amount of snow covering my yard with more on the way!
Cheers.

I love Christian's work. So professional in appearance.
For example...
Considering the below image from the Inouye DKIST 4 meter solar telescope, Christian's images are truly impressive!!

Wonderful images, Christian! May I ask a couple of technical details? What is the time window you consider when stacking? And what is the percentage of the frames that you usually take in the stacking? Best, Daniele
