A sight typically associated with spring is swallows zipping around. Belgium is no exception in that regard.
I was photographing pintails (ducks) this past weekend when a barn swallow decided to make an appearance. While they're always pretty challenging to photograph due to speed at which they move, I think the shots turned out fairly decent.
Thanks for looking!

Hi Jochen,
Wonderful sequence and I have to say you are really a great bird photographers. Each frame could not be sharper
Fairly decent is a real understatement.

Danke schön, Rainer
The longer I do it, the more critical I get of my own shots I guess.

Re: Barn swallow
look at that refracted sunlight - blue spectrum coming off the bird's feathers
Looks like he is enjoying a nice dip to wash the Saharan dust off his beautiful feathers.
