Hi,
20 minutes later I shot again with my Canon M5 (APS sized) using an 15mm Fisheye
but seeing that this was not enough I unpacked the big Cannon's (5D MIII) and using an 8mm Fisheye full circular got the following from the balcony of the house. North at the bottom of the image. On the left side you can see the Observatory with the Radio Meteor detectng Yagi Antenna

Re: Rain looks promising
I've never known someone who gets so excited by getting a cloud
I really hope that it performed for you
These are great shots, I love the full fish-eye

Re: Rain looks promising
Great shots!
I totally agree with your excitement at seeing rain clouds. Here in New Mexico we are 63% extreme/exceptional drought, and the whole state is currently under a "Red Flag Warning" for extreme fire danger. Bring on the rain!!!

Re: Rain looks promising
Hi,
I knew somebody would say something about my Cloud fetish
... and yes it rained very nicely but before the rain came we had very strong winds and ...
... suddenly we had no electricity anymore or better said the two phases in my house and the surrounding neighbours only had one around 50V and the other about 80V and I guess we broke a record.
Electricity came back after 21 hours and 45 minutes eg. one hour ago.
Apart from that no running water as the pumps did not work. As you see it does not get boring in Mexico

Re: Rain looks promising
Nice capture Rainer!
I find clouds interesting, especially the dark rain clouds. A timelapse would be nice, I have tried taking timelapses, worth experimenting with.
