Active Regions in Ha 12th May 2022

Post by Carbon60 »

ARs 13006 & 13007 in hydrogen alpha on my 150mm scope at f35 using a 2.5x PM and Basler acA1920-155 um.
The seeing conditions were okay at the start of the session at 9:20 UTC (for AR13007) but within 30 minutes of scudding clouds and fishing in the gaps the seeing turned south really dramatically.

Anyhow, here are the results. AR13006 flaring again.

Okay seeing:

Less than optimal seeing:

...and a three frame mosaic across the same region...

Thanks for looking.

Hi Dennis,

The ‘Ha filter’ is a pair of rear mounted Lunt 35 etalons working together with a Coronado BF15.
