Sol from the 14th of May 2022.
Hi:
Had a sunny day with haze and clouds rolling by, so used the 3 home scopes.
Was surprised when I took the CaK FD, because got a faint but big arching prom.
Thanks for looking the images taken.
Have you all a nice sunny Sunday.
Eric.

A superb set of images, Eric. I'm always fascinated with your calcium proms. Whimsically, the left side of the large CaK arch prom looks like a running man
Hope you're Sunday is a sunny one.

Re: Sol from the 14th of May 2022.
Alexandra and Guys, much appreciated comments.
BTW, this is the CaK prominence FD just out of aligning and stacking 25% of 600 frames, as you can see the arch big prom is very dim, so it was hard to make the composite with the "Surface" CaK FD.
My CaK FD´s are always the last taken every session, so I did not expect the big arch, because when I took the Ha FD´s, it was just like a big prom, then when I used the 102mm f/28 Stellarvue with the Daystar tscanner, then it appeared as a big explosion, but when saw the CaK ones I was shocked.
Have a nice Sunday.
Eric.

Re: Sol from the 14th of May 2022.
Eric,
You got some stunning images of that SE prominence! I observed it early on before it launched itself into space. You captured it superbly after it lifted off. Did it escape as a CME or did the sun recapture it and pull it back down?
Congrats on the SPOD!!
James
