A lovely 'spire prom' May 22

Post by Gordon Ewen »

I had an hour or so of mostly clear sky this morning so managed to get some video for a couple of still images, attached. My attempt to shoot a set of videos for an animation was futile due to too many cloud interruptions.
There was a lovely spire type of prominence on the south east limb, very striking.
Can you believe it.......... I used an eyepiece today! It was a shame about the clouds but I will be doing it asgain.
Regards
Gordon
