Sol FD WL 2022.05.25

Post by nicosolcy »

New stuff this morning, as in 3 new regions, one of which looks VERY promising. We lost 3010 and 3011 and 3014 will be with us for the next 24 hours or so before disappearing.

Captured with Explore Scientific 80mm Triplet FCD-1, Siebert 1.75x Telecentric, ASI183MM [FR 10.50, FL 840mm, 0.59 arc sec per pixel] best 50 of 2,500 frames.

Lovely new stuff here too: wall to wall clouds :(

But Fri looks better so hopefully by then the new regions will be flourishing.

At least (unless you are doing animations), we only need a short capture window!

I hope your weather clears out soon :)

Well, there is a continuum filter in the imaging train, so that’s “realistic” - let’s call it!
