Weekend Solar Activity

From the number of posts it seems that a lot of members were looking at the sun this weekend. Here is my take of the sun with a nice flare from AR3021 and a filament spewing out of an active region.

Rainer, yes you are correct, I live in the land of the long white cloud but sometimes when we get a break in the cloud the viewing is spectacular. These images were taken with a Coronado SM60 fitted to a Takahashi FS-60C + module (F/10) + BF30 + Tele Vue Powermate setup. I was happy with the results.
