prom of today June 10th 2022

Post by ChrisHalpha2017 »

Hello,
unexpectedly I got this image this morning .... I mean I never got this level of definition before...
06_08_36_Soleil H alpha_10_06_22_F574-649 annotée.jpg
06_08_36_Soleil H alpha_10_06_22_F574-649 annotée.jpg (339.27 KiB) Viewed 555 times

And i used a 600 lines/mm grating instead of the very dispersive 1200 or 1800 l/mm I usually use.

Chris

i'm gonna use this 600 more often to check and verify my hypothesis...

It certainly looks good. The fainter finer filaments of plasma are easily seen. Your setup works really well. I like it because it's different.
