Got him at last!!

Post by Alun_H »

Always heard the odd Woodpecker in the distance during the past few years but never got to see one, until now...Well,a few days ago to be precise.
Just happened to look out the window when I noticed this Woody sat in a tree at the bottom of the garden and just for once I also happened to have the Canon 1100D,set up on its tripod with a Canon 300mm prime lens so just run off a few photos through the double glazed window, decided just for a bit of fun to align and create an animation with the photos.

Well caught! they are so shy, you can hear them laughing at you most of the time but they rarely let you see them. What a gem!
