Sun in H_alpha_06_12_2022

Post by faber »

Hi to everyone,
Today I used my Lunt 50 and my Takahashi FC 100 DL and barlow zeiss to have a quick and dirt session in the meantime I was doing my BBQ
The turbulence was horrible but I want to test my brand new BF 1200 that make my session more easy and has a lot of backfocus (too much sometimes!)
Anyway here my shots with 17 frames selected out of 1000 in all cases.
  • Capture with Sharpcap 4.0
  • Stacking with Autostakkert! 2.6.8
  • Wavelet and other cosmetic modification with Astrosurface
I mantained the elaboration as musch as possible natural, but I'm never satisfied with the full disk; seems that the BF 1200 give me less detail or I need to verify better my setup.
Thank for the attention and best regards

Nice images. Maybe try ImPPG for deconvolution and sharpening to make those details ‘pop’.
