When I came back he had this on view. Surge prom at 3.30 looked to me like a surfer with the front of his board sticking up.
In the meantime he had raided my Astro crystal cabinette for a polariser filter and one of my cheap Chinese filters I use as 20mm stops to add to the Celestron 40mm Symmetric. He said I had reflections off the screws holding the etalon in place.
I did have a play with the Rumak180. Went back to plain PST Mod2 and the bino-viewers. Despite the sweet spot I do get the best contrasty views of the surface. My friends on CN are right about solar views being very good in bino-viewers. Thanks to Rod for setting a ebay bargain up for me.
Rod said my Chromo is quiet good so must set about imaging.
