the big prominence and eruptive emission within...(june 23rd)

Post by ChrisHalpha2017 »

hello,

Here in Paris this morning there was a small clearing of the sky that allowed me to see this :)

There was a Doppler shift at the base that annouced an eruption ; it was pretty small and faint but still I could see it in emission in front of the big prominence.

Can you see that too when you use an H alpha filter (as i dont have one) ?

I looked at the GOES Flux graph and it does not show an eruption at the time marked on your image but it might have been a fairly bright surge prom that you captured.
