HA and CaK disks from 6/30/2022

Post by rigel123 »

Working on an animation of the NW Limb proms, but here are the disks from this morning. Looks like a good sized spot is coming into view on the SE limb. Noticeable in the CaK image. Lunt LS60T DS, ASI174MM and Orion ED80T with Lunt BF1200 CaK module.

Nice work Warren. Looks good in both Ha and CaK. I hope to get a view in tomorrow but the weather doesn't look good.

Ohhh, your CaK has inspired me to do some WL imaging tomorrow! That's a big one swinging around!

Nice FDs Warren. Your CaK image shows very well the new spot coming around the limb.

Thanks all. Counting on some of you getting some images to watch that new spot since we’re coming into some clouds the next few days.
