Another nice and sunny start of the day.

FD image in H-Alpha using a Coronado 60mm/BF15 w/Beloptik ITF, stopped down to 50mm, Baader 35nm H-Alpha and ASI 178mm mounted on a SkyWatcher SolarQuest.

Very nice Arne. I really like the colored Ha and CaK images. That’s a nice group of prominences on the eastern limb in Ha.

Another great set of images, Arne. Hoping to get some Sun over the next few days to see the newest features for myself…hoping is the key word, as the weather is so changeable currently.

Fabulous full discs, the new AR in the east looks like a huge dent in the side of the Sun. It must be a trick of the eyes but it does look like a big dimple.

I thought the moon was the one to watch for craters... but I see you found one on the sun!
