Rough Sun in Greylight 21st July 2022.

Post by steveward53 »

No view expected today , but I managed to catch the briefest of blueish patches which gave me 32 thick haze marred frames to play with.

Shooting right down at 1/100s as opposed to the usual 1/800s meant 'enhanced' artifacts that I can't remove , not the prettiest image but it gives a decent enough idea of what's up there considering ...

You have an amazing run of being able to get an image almost every day despite the weather!

Well done Steve :bow :hamster: now the heat has gone so has the Sun, nothing but thick grey cloud and back to a chilly 17 degrees again. Never a happy medium :(

The greyish white disc of your first image reminds me of the color the Kanzelhohe Solar Observatory in Austria uses for their white light images.
