Wow!! superb images :bow :hamster: is that a huge a spike (surge prom) in the middle of the prom image? it almost looks out of place like a artefact but I know it is a surge prom, fascinating!

Great shots Paul! I had the same thought as Alexandra that at first that spike looks like an artifact but looking at the full resolution it does appear to be a surge spike.

Nicely imaged proms, Paul.

The Earth scale really helps illustrate the size of the ‘little’ surge prom (and the others).
