24th July Sunspots come and go.

Post by JohnW »

July 24th. Those sunspots come and go. Two images here - first on 20th July and the second on 24th July.
Both single exposures with Canon 550d at 540 nm. You can see the movement and changes in shape of the sunspots over these 4 days.
Small sunspots but interesting to watch. Both taken on cloudy days - you just have to wait for a gap to appear.
Thanks for viewing.

I love how these look. Very detailed. Besides the Canon DSLR, what else did you use to capture these?

Rbenton ... Scope was a WO 81 mm refractor with Baader herschel wedge and 540 nm filter.
