Sun in Ca II K 31st July 2022

Like Alexandra, just Ca II K FDs today with the Sun coming out late in the afternoon between clouds.

Altair Astro Lightwave 72mm/F6 with 40mm mask
Lunt B1800 CaK module with internal Omega filter
2.7 x Barlow
Basler acA2440-75 um
Genika Astro image capture
AS!3 stacking
ImPPG
MS ICE stitching (four pane mosaic)
PixInsight refining and colouring.

That came out well Stu! I was up in Stoke visiting family so missed the blue skies, I did briefly see the crescent moon with the binoculars when we got back but the cloud was building again. Cloudy so far this Monday, hoping it might break later...

Thanks, Alexandra. It was a frustrating morning with too many wispy clouds and patches of cumulus. It was nice when it was clear though. :)
