Aug 3rd / 4th Solar activity
Two dates here ... Aug 3rd and 4th. Terrible atmospheric conditions (wind, rain and cloud), but I managed to get some images of the large prominence on the NE limb. The wavelengths are shown on the images which are all single exposures with a canon 550d camera. Thanks for viewing.

Thanks everybody for your comments - this prom certainly provided interest and something to follow. Will be interesting to see what is visible when it moves across the sun's disc if it lasts that long. Cheers, John W.
