Aug 04 2022 - Late to the party

Post by Simon2940 »

It's been hazy, cloudy, hot and just plain bad weather for solar, and astro in general here in California.

Seeing was actually pretty good but shooting through the hazy was a nightmare to say the least.

I feel left out with all the amazing timelapses and images so this is what I got given the circumstances.

Better late than never! Beautiful images Simon and you caught it during its liftoff. You can see it is barely attached by the southern end of the arch.

It's now a blanket of haze over me so there was no way of doing an animation. I was lucky to get what I got.

At least you got it. Your images look good too despite the haze.
