G2 Geomagnetic Storm 7th-8th August 2022

Post by Carbon60 »

Earth's magnetic field is still reverberating as a result of fast flowing solar wind with its associated erratic interplanetary magnetic field flipping between northerly and southerly directions. The local effect on my magnetometer here in the UK is clear to see.

There might be more to come later today.....or it might fizzle out. It's difficult to say :)

Thanks for looking.

Stu.
