APOLOGIES - FOR MY SILENCE OVER THE LAST MONTHS

Post by EGRAY_OBSERVATORY »

YES, SORRY TO SAY SORRY FOR NOT BEING ABLE TO POSTING MY USUAL-COMMENTS TO THE MANY SOLAR-CHATTERS DURING 2022.

ALSO NOT BEING ABLE TO CONTINUE REPORTING THE LATEST SOLAR-REPORTS/FORECAST TOO, BUT EXTREME-DIFFICUTY IN THE NORMALLY SIMPLE TASK OF JUST TYPING ACCURATELY - HAS PROVEN TO BE NEAR IMPOSSIBLE (ALONG WITH OTHER DIFFICULTIES THAT I AM NOW EXPERIENCING AS WELL)...

WHETHER I AM ABLE TO RETURN TO NORMAL OPERATIONS AND ACTIVITIES INCLUDING 4-LIGHT SOLAR-IMAGING, IS NOT-NOW KNOWN TO ME AT THIS TIME.

BEST WISHES AND REGARDS TO YOU ALL FOR NOW AT LEAST.
AND OF COURSE "CLEAR SKIES" TOO

TERRY

Good to hear from you Terry. I need to call you back, i've been away at my parents gardening and doing domestic chores for them for the last week and missed when you phoned.

Terry,
No need to apologize, though the majority of us don’t know what your condition is we can tell it’s really serious. I certainly will remember you in my prayers and thoughts. I do hope and pray in time that you can return to solar imaging. You are just one of a few here who images in four lights and you had a lot to show. And you were our official solar forecaster! Andrew and I fill in your absence.

I saw an F16 fighter jet fly over today. With your love of all things aviation you would have been elated to see it.

Chin-up my friend. Get well. You’ll pull through!

James

Good to hear you are still at least sitting in the sunshine and enjoying the lovely weather. I do hope that your recovery continues and maybe next year you can get back to solar imaging. Small steps, lots of rest and lots of solar vitamin D will cheer you up :)

MANY THANKS JAMES AND ALEXANDRA FOR YOUR COMMENTS.

F16 EH JAMES!! WE HAVE A NUMBER OF THOSE U.S. ONES BASED AT LAKENHEATH AIR-BASE IN THE UK AND HAVE BEEN SEEN ON OCCASIONS BY ME, AS WELL AS ON RADAR.

MORE THAN ONE MEDICAL/SURGICAL ISSUE IS AFFECTING ME WITH THE OUTCOME - DOUBTFUL...

YES I DO MISS BEING ABLE TO DO THE HONOURS WITH SOLAR FORECASTING/REPORTS, AS WELL AS IMAGING TOO, BUT THE SUN WILL BE AROUND LONG AFTER ME AND GOOD TO SEE AND HEAR YOUR AND ANDREW'S REPORTS, ALONG WITH THE IMAGES FROM SOLARCHATTERS... (I DO TRY TO KEEP A DAILY-EYE ON THE POSTS WHEN ABLE)...

SITTING OUTSIDE ALEXANDRA, WHILST SAVOURING THE SUN-SHINE, IS A LUXERY FOR ME AT LEAST UNDER THE DIRECT-PROTECTION OF THE LARGE SUN-SHADE OVER THE GARDEN BENCH, BUT WITH THE AMBER-WARNING OF EXTREMELY HIGH TEMPERATURES OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS, DOES REQUIRE THE ADDED COOLING OF USING THE VERY-LARGE FAN FROM THE MAIN OBSY - TO KEEP ME SOMEWHAT COOLER OUTSIDE.

I AM STILL AROUND - KEEPING AN EYE ON WHAT ARE THE LATEST SOLARCHAT POSTS AND WILL AT LEAST CONTINUE SUCH FOR THE FORESEEABLE FUTURE.

CLEAR SKIES
TERRY

Good luck with your recovery, Terry. It sounds pretty ominous, but, of course, you never really know the outcome until it happens. Hopefully things will turn around and you'll get well enough to participate again. We all sincerely hope so.

Take care.
