Half-decent seeing , a 'new' camera and a new strategy/recipe all came together rather well today ...

A bit misleading there Mark ...

I've just swapped out my old trusty EOS 1000D with 250,000 on the clock for a 'new' S?H EOS Rebel XS with just 6000 on it.(same camera but US badged)

I did try a 450D in the hope that the extra 2Mp might see a better resolution to no avail ( both dirt cheap from MBP)

With my set-up the earlier Canons with the DIGIC III processor work great , but the later models 1100D onwards with the DIGIC IV just don't play nicely so I keep hoovering up 1000Ds and Rebel XSs when they pop up on Wex or MBP , they're generally around the £50-70 mark.

I do have a 174MM sitting here that I bought from Gary P in readiness for the Ha journey that's been put on hold , but without arseing about with mosaics it's no real help for my quick and easy discs.
