Absolute pressure in Lunt LS80 etalons.

Post by pupak »

Today I did pressure measurements in two LS80 etalons. The first was in the band at a pressure of 27-28 PSI, the second at a pressure of 25-26 PSI. Sensitivity to pressure change is not extreme. A change of up to 4-5 PSI can be detected by eye.
I am preparing a remote pressure control and this was the first step.

It will also have remote control via a WiFi server, so no cable will be needed. As soon as the sun comes out, I'll start testing the first prototype.
