August 24th prominence animation

Post by Ivan »

Hi all,
Animation of the prominence in the southeast from August 24. Duration 3 hours and 20 minutes. The conditions are quite difficult, a thin milky veil that thickened, then became more transparent, clouds sometimes came, but in general I tried to keep the interval about minute.

On Stuart's advice, I reduced the speed, thanks to Stu!

Nice one, Ivan. That’s a lot of work. It would look really awesome if it ran a bit slower, maybe half speed or quarter speed to really emphasise those softer flowing movements. :)

Thanks, Stu, it seems to have turned out better. I changed the animation at the beginning of the post.
