Monday Sun in Ha 5th September 2022

Post by Carbon60 »

A beautiful large curvy filament and partial loop prom in Ha this morning. The seeing conditions we're mediocre, but good enough for the 150.

...and a 4 pane mosaic of AR13092 showing the whole filament.

Over on the western limb, departing AR13089 is leaving in style with a beautiful looping prominence

AR13094 seems a bit tame in comparison....

We'll see how it develops over the coming days.

That's it for today. Clouded out now.

Thanks for looking.

Stuart

Nice ones Stu! We are clouded out and getting drenched! 5” of rain over the last two days. I might see the sun on Thursday.

Very nice work Stuart. The curved filament shows nice detail and contrast and I see a bit of a post-flare loop in another image.

I am so far under clouds and rain. The SUNoculars are at the ready though.
