2022 Sept 15 - Different processing

Post by Simon2940 »

I thought i would try out a different method on processing. Interesting results, nothing new in terms of the technique itself.

I used unsharpen mask, as well as an interesting dust and scratch overlay to get a flat looking image.

Indeed I can, It's done in Photoshop, you apply a dust and scratch filter until the details are gone, gaussian blur to get rid of any weird hard edges, invert the image and set the layer to Overlay. It's quite weird to watch it as it looks like an optical illusion when you first do it.

The rest of it is just unsharped mask which is something I dont really do.
