CaK and Ha FDs 17th September 2022

Post by Carbon60 »

Horrible seeing this morning and my close up views were a bust so I concentrated on FDs instead in CaK and Ha. These are mosaics and contain a few slightly dodgy areas resulting from the variable seeing. The main event is the recently returned active region (formerly AR13088, now AR13102)

It will be interesting to see how this region develops in the coming days and whether we'll any fireworks coming from it.

Thanks for looking.

Stu.

Beautiful work Stuart. The Sun's features in Ha has changed little today from your images to my observations.

Good disks Stu, the seeing was rubbish, i'm just going through the images I took yesterday and anything close is junk.
