AR13089 sunspot with a small and sudden flash. Can it be a small fler in Ca-K?

The small flash (took about 30 minutes) was visible on the live video and on the raw stack as well.

Top shot! One of our other members of the forum has reported a very similar thing in another active region recently, in white light, maybe these things are more common than we might think...

Hi, thank you for your kind comments!

This flash must be a common phenomenon, however, it was unusall for me.

That's absolutely terrific :bow :bow :bow I have caught one of these before and asked the Kanzelhohe team, they reckoned it was a bright penumbral grain viewtopic.php?t=35468
Like a mini flare.

It is very exciting to see and quite rare but much more common than a true WL flare.
