Today, I had planned to do some higher res imaging of a couple of filaments on the limb (appearing and receding) and some full disks. Something weird happened.
I had no apparent problems with the camera or software during the entire session. I recorded my higher res files and enough files for a full disk. When I was finished recording, I went in for a late lunch and afterwards started to stack my files. When I opened the capture folder (Videos), I thought I was dreaming. The only files that appeared, were the full disk files. None of the more than a dozen high res files were anywhere to be found. I looked around and checked for files with the day’s date in a variety of locations. Nothing.
I checked log files. The log files (Firecapture) had no activity at the time I spent recording the higher res files but rather started when I began the full disk files. A real mystery.
Lou
Here is a full disk in a few representations:

Lou,
That sounds like something that would happen to me! Those are really nice full disc images though.
