revival of my Quark on September 22, 2022

Post by banjo »

Good morning all ,

my quark wanted to start again with the battery rather than its power supply, I also put a Baader Cp 7nm Ha filter in front of the camera and took 8-bit shots.

Hi Paul,
Can you compare 16 bit SER files vs 8 bit AVI
and is your 7nm H alpha filter working as
a Double Stack system?

Good morning all,
Magnus I never make .AVI videos, because I find them worse than .SER
For the Ha filter, I use it with a quark from a 60mm solarscope, the Ha filter seems to filter the uv/ir residues towards the camera well, it is not narrow enough to make DS
