Friday Sun 23rd September 2022

Post by Carbon60 »

It got to mid-morning before I could get out to image the Sun and by then the seeing conditions were not at their best. Anyhow, the newest active regions on the south-eastern were my focus in three lights: Ha, Ca II K and 'WL' (430 nm) and I was determined to capture something before the conditions really turned for the worse.

In no particular order, here are the resulting images:

I also managed a couple of proms in Ha:

...and that was the end of the session.

Thanks for looking.

Many thanks, everyone. I really appreciate your kind words.

I've added/reworked a couple of images, taking my time this afternoon to try to optimise....

The mosaic is neat. I like the darker colouring. Shows off the highlights well.
