Full disk and 2 proms from Sept 23

Post by gabrieli »

A large prom is persisting for a while. As well, a smaller eruptive fast changing prom appeared.
I also recorded 2 panels for a full disk using a double stacked LS60MT. If you note this full disk and my past ones, there is what seems to be a gradient from top to bottom. This is the result of my trying to even out a ghost that often appears in the lower right of the image.
This ghost can be pushed off the image by adjusting the etalon tilt. This is fine but also throws off tuning on the disk which has to be pulled back on band. Overall, this means that full disks need to be constructed in 2 parts: disk and proms.

Lou
