My session time was from 14:18 to 15:31 UTC. The skies are clear and the seeing is fair/average, maybe slightly above. The temperature is 64F ( 17.7C ) at 14:50 UTC.
Coronado SolarMax II 60 DS. 16x and 25x ( Ha )
I can see six active regions in the Ha chromosphere today. Three in the northern hemisphere with two bearing labels and three in the southern hemisphere with all three bearing NOAA numbering.
The NE quadrant shows AR13110 as a spot with a plage to it's east. An easy filament is seen just SE of the plage. Two more filaments are seen to the north with a bit more difficulty. An unnumbered plage ( SWL ) is seen in the NW quadrant just across the CLM in the NW quadrant. Further WSW near the limb AR13109 is seen as a small plage. A polar crown of filaments is seen in the far north.
AR13108 is seen in the SW quadrant as a plage with two filaments just to it's SE. AR13105 just west of the CLM appears as a plage with a curved filament heading SE. A spot is visible with a close look at it's eastern border. The C-shaped filament SW of AR13105 has lost it's shape! AR13107 just to it's ESE lies mostly in the SE quadrant and appears as a large scattered plage. A thin difficult filament is seen in the plage's northern region. A filament is seen well to it's NE and another to it's SE. An easy dark filament is seen near the SE limb just a little below the equator.
The only prominences I notice are three on the NW limb. The largest shows 4 tiny voids under a mottled flamelike structure.
The usual mottling of the chromosphere is seen across the disc where plage is absent.
Orion 70mm Solar Telescope. 25x, 50x and 62.5x ( WL )
At least seven active regions are seen on the white light photosphere today. four in the northern hemisphere with two bearing numbers and three in the southern hemisphere with all three being number-labeled ( SWL ).
AR13110 is easily seen in the NE quadrant as a large leading structured ( Having umbra and penumbra ) spot followed by a cluster of small spots and pores just to it's ENE. I also notice a couple of pores very close to the large spot to it's NE. SDO HMI high rez shows a tiny pore to the SW of the large spot but I cannot see it. Faculae can be seen to the NE of AR13110 heading nearly to the limb. 50x and 62.5x shows an emerging spot very near the NE limb just behind the faculae. It takes a close look to see and I would have never seen it if I would not have not known it's exact location and would have not been specifically looking for it. It may or may not be associated with the faculae. Just across the Central Longitudinal Meridian I see a single small pore at 62.5x. I later see a second more difficult pore. I thought I glimpsed a third even harder one but the SDO images do not support that finding. The second pore is not much bigger than a granule but the darker coloration makes it possible to see. The second pore lies SW of the easier one. AR13109 just north of the equator in the NW quadrant shows itself as a double facula. Within the western component of that facula I can see a small oval spot. SDOHMI high rez shows this spot to be a close double but I cannot split them.
AE13108 in the SW quadrant shows itself as 5 spots/pores. I can barely hint pores at the groups SE side. The largest spot leads the group as is typical. AR13105 now across the CLM is seen as a wavy smattering of spots and pores. This system appears to be in a state of decay. Strangely the largest spot trails the group. A small dark spot leads it. The large trailing spot shows an umbra off-center to the west within it's penumbra. A small dark spot lies south of the larger one. AR13107, just across the CLM in the SE quadrant shows itself as two parallel lines of spots and pores converging in on the trailing spot which is one of the largest in the group. This region also appears to be in a decaying state.
The fine granulation of the photosphere is visible.
And it's Monday again... :-(

Re: September 26 2022 Observations
Thanks and welcomes Alexandra and Warren. My weather is good for now but from Friday through the weekend is forecast to be stormy with heavy rain from what is now Hurricane Ian.
