Post by Carbon60 »

Hi all,

A few from this morning in Ha on my 150 mm DS refractor. The seeing conditions were poor with those really annoying high frequency fluctuations making even focusing quite difficult.

First up is a large filament loop, captured here as a two pane mosaic:

...and on the western limb a little detached prom:

Over to the eastern limb, and the newest active region AR13112:

...and the most active region currently AR13110 which recently exploded with two large flares M5.9 and M8.7:

Thanks for looking.

Stu.

Nice images Stu. Your processing is always right on. Some day we will have tools to better focus in challenging seeing.
