partial eclipse of the sun on October 25 in Halpha

Post by stef41 »

Hello to all,

here are some pictures of this eclipse taken from the Sirene observatory on the Albion plateau.
A lot of clouds this morning in Provence in France, we had to slalom between to get some pictures.

The maximum was planned at 10h09 UT, I could see our star only at 10h14 UT

At the fs60 with its sm40 double stack, BF10, glasspath x1.7 and zwo178mm

Because of the clouds, I don't have the beginning which should have been at 09h24 UT and even less the end which was around 11h UT , but I still have a small animation with my 7 surviving images between 09h27 UT and 10h35 UT (reduced to 50%) :

Stepane,
It's amazing you got such good images through those clouds.
