Thanks everyone, it is always such a pleasure to chat to you all.

James, I am so very sorry to hear about Lily, she is your best friend :( you are not alone, Mark is also grieving because his cat Mori has been missing since the 28th October and they have been on the long search too. All our solar buddies are going missing :( Let's hope both will find their way home soon.

Alexandra

Just caught up on last night's meeting which was hugely informative as usual.
Got held up on the A59 after visiting my parents in Lancashire so couldn't make it in person this time.
Like many, I would have joined in with the ProAm project, but the time of year is against me. Perhaps we could take the idea and have a solarchat version next year? Just a thought!
Thanks,
Nic

Alexandra and Mark,
I am so sorry about Mori. Little cats become a part of your family. I am certainly very attached to mine. Mark I will remember You and Mori in my prayers. I am so sorry. Lily returned very late last night all hungry. She was meowing and purring loudly when I picked her up. I was all treary-eyed. She's asleep in the closet now. It's kept open, of course.

Thanks folks, we remain in optimism of his return but aren't hopeful :(

Lots of cats going missing round here in last couple of weeks being reported on FB, sadly we think someone is trapping them. :(

Our other cat doesn't want to go out in less than sunny weather so we're keeping her in for the time being.

Great news, James. Lesson learned (by her) hopefully.

Sorry to hear about Mori, Mark. Let’s hope for the best. Fingers crossed that all is okay.

As for the Zoom meeting, it was good to catch up. :)

Mark,
Dad has lost some of his cats due to trapping. It's illegal here in the US in most circumstances. Some even poison them or set out antifreeze or lye which is fatal to them. Doing cats that way is illegal here. The biggest threats here at home to cats are dogs running loose and coyotes.

Sorry for your loss. Cats do become little furry family members and I certainly miss them when they are gone.

James
