small flare visible in Ha on October 5 - C8 EdgeHD

Post by christian viladrich »

Hello,
Here are two belated images taken on October 5 with the C8 EdgeHD and a double-stack Ha combination. A small flage was visible :

Some area 1h30 latter :

Then the flare intensity increased, as well as turbulence ...

BTW, does the following image display correctly on your screen ?
Image

Clear skies

Nice images Christian, I wish my seeing supported this. The third image does not show for me in the thread.

Thanks to all !!

It seems I still have an issue when I try to post images instead of links. I know there was some issues with the protocoles used by Astrosurf. I have to check again with them.

Hi Christian: do you have an image of the setup, in particular the stacking of the two etalons ?

Thank you,

Franco

Christian, it is because the astrosurf website does not have an SSL certificate, if you look at the web bar at the top there is no padlock by the address, it says 'not secure'. The forum only allows secure sites to link for security.
